I was privileged to be working with the team at Lemme-Johnson Contracting the last few months to design their new subdivision in Decatur called Chance Farm. They are breaking ground this month! The process was amazing and this builder is top notch. I never really thought in my first year of business I would get to work on such large and cool projects.
All of these modern country houses feature the quality amenities Lemme-Johnson is known for:
• Energy-efficient foam insulation
• Oversized garages with "man cave" extras
• Luxury master bath
• Chef's kitchen with large island
• Wood-burning fireplaces
• Large covered porches in front and back
• Second story bonus rooms

I don't really consider myself to be an interior decorator or kitchen specialist, but the kitchen does seem to be one of the most interesting rooms in a house. It's also the room I spend the most time on because everyone has their ideal setup. As a value-add, I send renderings of the kitchen to just about every customer, thanks to the real-time power of #ChiefArchitect. Here are just a handful of the kitchens I designed last year.

In the summer of 2019, my friend @mikethaslicecotter and I were standing on the porch of my new house. Together we decided the house really needed an antique-style rock bridge. We got to work. The next day I had a design and he built the custom forms in only two days. The concrete crew reinforced the structure and the tile guys did an amazing job making it look like it had been there a hundred years.

A key part of the design process for homeowners is visualization. Helping families convey their vision to a builder through 3D renders is part of my standard service. This New England-influenced lake house will be built on a hill in Tennessee and features a drive-through garage and wrap-around windows on an open first-level floorplan.
